'Disney Dreamlight Valley' Will Get Free 'Lilo & Stitch' and 'Nightmare Before Christmas' Updates
Two new characters will join Disney Dreamlight Valley this year! Fans are in for a treat — and a few tricks
Disney Dreamlight Valley's roadmap for the rest of 2026 has been announced, revealing a massive expansion pack and two free updates. It seems that every month of the year will bring new characters to the Valley, giving players a lot to look forward to before the new year rolls around.
A previous content roadmap for Disney Dreamlight Valley revealed that players would learn more about two upcoming free updates in August. More information was revealed during D23, an event with panels and announcements related to Disney's many franchises, like one confirming the mutant cast of the upcoming X-Men movie.
During a Disney Dreamlight Valley panel, this year's content roadmap was fully uncovered. It was revealed that fans will soon be able to dress up as Hannah Montana and Lizzie McGuire, as outfits from the shows hit the Premium Shop starting Aug. 19.
Besides that, Oogie Boogie from The Nightmare Before Christmas and Lilo from Lilo and Stitch will be making their way to the Valley in September and December, respectively. Oogie Boogie joins the player once they complete the yearly Halloween event. With Lilo's arrival, Stitch will no longer have to wander the Valley by himself; the two will be reunited at the end of the year for a holiday-themed update. As per usual, fans will most likely have to complete themed quests and help these characters settle in before they're ready to move into the Valley.
Lastly, but certainly not least, the theme of the previously teased paid DLC was confirmed. Players can take their Disney Dreamlight Valley adventure to the deep sea with The Keepsake Sea, featuring none other than Captain Jack Sparrow. An exact release date has not been revealed, but it will drop in October, between the free updates.
As a 'thank you' for tuning in, players can claim the free D23 Varsity Jacket 2026 as an exclusive cosmetic. All they need to do is open the Help section in the Settings menu and input the code: "DDVD23PANELGIFT". It will be placed in their in-game mailbox.
